@TheTechnician44 The exact same thing happened in AD with LH cutting the corner. Max was dropped 2 grid places on the restart. Lewis had to give the gap back (which he never did). Just FIA 2021 things, hope they do better in 2022. Also LH should have received a 5s penalty instead of a B&W flag

@_mayosandwich Should look in the 3 races prior to AD, Mercedes got away with EVERYTHING so the FIA could exploit the last GP's spectacle. Otherwise it would have been decided in favor of Max before AD. But yes, another awful and controversial decision by the FIA in 2021.

@coffeeforthewin DTS4 was very bias though, they went in-depth on the Monza incident while barely covered Silverstone. They made a section about RB complaining about Mercs rear wing while it was actually found to be illegal which they didn't include in the footage. Wont even get into the SaudiGP.

They discussed not wanting to finish behind the safety car earlier this season or last season. Why they only let 5 cars pass? that is a valid question.

Its been requested and stated prior to the race that they didn't want the races to be decided behind a safety care (regardless who is leading).

They didn't want to end the season under a safety car (I didn't know that was a rule), so they broke their own rules to engineer a new one after saying they wouldn't allow the lapped cars through initially.
