Northern Shield Resources announces that it has increased its land position from 32km2 to 420km2. The most significant addition is the 212km2 Fortune Property, which covers a 40km trend that is highly prospective for porphyry copper and epithermal gold systems.

Northern Shield is the first company to conduct systematic exploration at the Root & Cellar project. Our latest update revealed a large new zone of mineralization consistent with the outer zone of a Cu-Au-Mo-(Ag-Te) porphyry system, surrounded by five Au-Ag-Te showings.

The Creston target at our Root & Cellar property has a new ~50x30m porphyry-style mineralization that was exposed via quarrying! This discovery is adjacent to a hydrothermal breccia vent & just 50m from 1.2% Cu breccia-hosted Cu. This is the largest exposed area yet on-site.

Northern Shield reports that a large area of porphyry-style mineralization has been exposed at the Creston Copper-Molybdenum-Gold-Silver-Tellurium target at our 100% owned Root & Cellar property in southeastern Newfoundland.

Our Root & Cellar project, just 3 hours from St. John's, NFL, targets a low sulphidation epithermal Au-Ag mineralization, with strong copper porphyry potential. Our grab samples grade up to 111 g/t Au, 1,395 g/t Ag, and 700ppm Te. What will 2026 bring?
