Since this is a start of a new year I am going to be making one of those games I have played this year!!!! Enjoy the stupidity

watched it again, i can confidently say the main problem is that they put to much in the movie. a lot of these plot points get resolved very quickly its absurd just jumping from one plot point to the next. I still enjoy it but that is the weakest part

So after seeing the Mario galaxy movie I can 💯 say I really enjoyed it. I disagree with practically every point the critics were saying this was just a fun one all around

I find it a little annoying that people seem or feel like they need to make a grand statement about the Mario galaxy movie. Just say if you liked it or not what you did or didn’t we don’t need to start a grandiose movement over a children’s movie. It’s not like tha games are dead

@GamesCage_ Gonna disagree slightly while I agree it’s not fully galaxy. It’s more like this a Mario 40th anniversary but with galaxy as the backdrop or setting for the movie to take place

@IvysRefrain Yeah, but I really liked the fact that it was not 1 to 1 galaxy, because HOT TAKE, but what were they really gonna do if they just did the Galaxy plot, like the games. I think it being straight Original is what gives it charm

@IvysRefrain Like obviously they took a lot of references around other games. But it is centered really well within the galaxy.

@IvysRefrain There was only one part that I thought was a little weird (not gonna spoil it, in case someone reads this) but some of the critics said this isn’t even representative of Mario galaxy. And all I can say to that is did we really watch the same movie??

@IvyfulWorld Ok its what I thought. I am interested in the star fox aspect. got like an hour left before I see it. only question is did they not rely to much on the random other songs that are not mario?

@NotBradyPower Nope, it’s basically the same quality as the first one, same strengths and weaknesses. I think some of the novelty wore off but I also think once the movie found its stride it was consistently more fun
