We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jim Marshall, a legendary baseball icon for 8 decades as a player, manager, and scout in MLB and Japan, who spent the final 26 years of his career with the Diamondbacks as one of our original employees.
Our thoughts are with his family and many friends throughout the game.

If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal. If a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that's also illegal. Judges aren't allowed to control the executive's legitimate power.
