Very special evening last night at Croydon Masonic hall, visiting Shirley Park Lodge. Had the chance to act as Junior Deacon for the third degree of a close friend from university.

Just recieved the summons for Shirley Park Lodge in the Province of Surrey, looking forward to visiting for the Raising of a close friend on the 9th November. Hopefully playing a small part in the ceremony.

Incredibly honoured to be informed that I have been made a Liffetime Honorary Member of the @ByronClub, the club has played such a huge part in my masonic career. Time for a period of rest and then start to see how else I can contribute to freemasonry.

Had a great third degree at @ByronLodge4014 on Thursday evening. Did a pretty good rendition of the exhortation then won an Iron Maiden mug in the raffle.🤘⚰️

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Shirley Park Lodge. Friendly, smiles abound and good ritual. Getting to take part in the degree of such a close friend is a highlight of my masonic career so far. Very pleased with my first tracing board performance.
