🚨 Atletico Madrid have cut the grass at their stadium this morning.
Before the game against Barcelona last night, Hansi Flick complained that the grass was high enough.
Liverpool striker Hugo Ekitike is unlikely to play again for several months after suffering a suspected ruptured Achilles tendon.
Tests on Wednesday still need to confirm the exact extent of the damage but sources with knowledge of the situation, not authorised to speak publicly, have told The Athletic that Ekitike has sustained a suspected rupture.
Given the significant nature of the suspected injury the 23-year-old's recovery time is expected to be lengthy. In that timeline he would miss the World Cup this summer, and could be unavailable well into next season, too.

Last week’s complaint was called “inadmissible” by UEFA.
“We can NOT accept this. We already did a complaint to UEFA and I believe we will do another one”, says Laporta.
