A client that emotionally drains you but pays 2x your rate. Do you: A) Take the money and manage it B) Drop them — peace > pay C) Raise your rate until they leave on their own 😭 Be honest.

@Olivepixels Depends on the brand strategy and positioning. Fintechs can use colours like blue, purple, green etc. Just know when to use each and the correct hue to use.

Aside Blue what other color works well for fintech? Suggestion please

There is no money in graphic design… . . Did you watch the video to hear what the young man has to say? Here’s what I have to say 👇 If you think nobody gets paid big money for design, the problem isn’t the industry, it’s your mindset. You can’t see beyond your level because your exposure is limited. You’ve never seen a designer make millions or gotten a car, so you believe it’s impossible. Meanwhile, some of us can point to multiple designers that have done that. And no, people don’t pay ₦1M for just a logo. That’s where you’re getting it wrong. High paying clients don’t pay for shapes. They pay for strategy, positioning, marketing, and business impact. If all you offer is a basic logo, you’ll keep attracting basic budgets. The designers charging $20K to $50K aren’t just designing, they’re solving business problems. They understand branding, marketing, and growth. That’s the difference. You can’t expect premium results with a limited skill set and zero investment in knowledge. I’m currently taking a Mini MBA course that costs £2,500, and it’s opening my eyes to how marketing and business strategy directly increase the value of what I offer. Because at the end of the day, clients don’t pay for design. They pay for results. So if you feel stuck at a certain level, don’t blame the market. Upgrade your mindset. Upgrade your circle. Upgrade your skills.

Purple, green, blue ✅✅ Well it's all good but I will say color that works well for a brand is dependent on the kind of personality the brand has.

@DrapzDZN Righttt... A logo is just another symbol if it has no story to tell.

The part of brand work nobody talks about, before I touch figma I spend 1-2 hours just understanding the founder's vision, not the business model but the vision and idea behind the brand. Because if the brand doesn't translate that, it's just a logo.
