Darren Hercus, One Nation candidate for Nepean, visited the Dromana Police Station this week — he knocked, there was no one there. This is the reality local communities are facing all over Victoria. We have police shortages in the middle of a crime epidemic, leaving stations unattended, and communities exposed. One Nation will restore law and order, and the first step will be to increase funding to recruit and retain more police personnel.

Labor Ministers are claiming this is just a right-wing conspiracy, but the evidence says otherwise. People in regional communities are already reporting being blocked from buying fuel based on their purchasing history. For years, One Nation has warned both Labor and Liberal governments that Australia must increase its strategic oil reserves. Those warnings have been ignored. Now farmers are being cut off from diesel, and reports say it is threatening the ability of shops to keep food on the shelves. Ensuring Australians can grow and access food is the most basic duty of any government. This is not just a blunder. It is a wholesale failure to understand that energy is fundamental to a functioning economy. One Nation’s Rikkie-Lee Tyrrell exposes Jacinta Allan lying about Isis brides coming to Melbourne. When asked about the ISIS families planning on settling in Victoria, the Premier denied any knowledge of the issue. But days later, the Herald Sun reported that she had known for five months. We are proud to introduce our candidate for Nepean - Darren Hercus. Darren lives in Safety Beach with his wife and two adult children. He is a qualified civil engineer and has over 30 years of experience within the building and construction industry. He is currently the owner of MEGAjoist, a small floor and roof truss manufacturing plant in Dromana, which has been seriously impacted by the policies put in place by the Labor government. Darren attended the Melbourne premier of The Super Progressive Movie, where he was impressed by seeing or leader, Senator Pauline Hanson, taking the time to meet and greet everyone. Before the movie Pauline gave a small speech - and one thing that resonated with Darren was her statement: “All I want is a fair go for all Australians - and everyone to be treated as equals”. Such a simple but non-divisive message encouraged Darren to not only become a member, but to run for candidacy for One Nation. He will be a terrific candidate, get behind him!
