It’s all talk. Just withhold foreign aid to Israel for a month and they’ll stop bombing their neighbors - instant peace, the Strait of Hormuz can be opened, and gas drops $2 a gallon. Israel has been, and continues to be, the biggest welfare recipient from American tax payers.

@WesternCapeDA And I thought politicians aligned themselves with the principles a political party stands for, but no I was wrong it’s about the paychecks. If I was a DA supporter I would seriously consider this as very fucked up indeed.

Another incident:
Centurion Runner Escapes Alleged Kidnapping Attempt During Armed Robbery:
A Centurion runner says he narrowly escaped what appeared to be an attempted kidnapping after being robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint while jogging on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at around 09:10 at the corner of Ruimte and PhiIirene Streets. The victim said two suspects stole his cellphone and Garmin watch before allegedly attempting to force him into nearby bushes.
According to the runner, he managed to flee when one of the suspects became distracted while accessing his cellphone. He ran into the road screaming for help, prompting the suspects to flee the scene.
A criminal case has been opened and police are investigating.
The incident has renewed concerns about the safety of runners, cyclists and walkers in the Centurion area, with calls for greater vigilance and increased patrols in popular outdoor exercise routes.

Runner Robbed During Training Run in Raslouw, Centurion: The Jacaranda Athletic Club has expressed shock and concern after one of its members was the victim of an armed robbery while on a training run in Raslouw on Sunday morning. The club said the runner was not seriously injured but described the incident as traumatic. It urged runners and outdoor athletes to remain vigilant, avoid isolated routes, and run in groups where possible. The club has called on law enforcement, community policing forums, and private security companies to increase patrols and strengthen safety measures in popular running and cycling areas. It also offered support to the affected runner.
