🤔 A New Moore's Law Fact: global compute resources have been growing exponentially since 2020. In particular, using only home devices (phones, laptops, PCs, and gaming consoles) it is now possible to train and operate approximately 108,000 ChatGPT instances as of September 2024. Decentralization is more viable today than 1 year ago, and will be twice as viable next year.
