Oregon’s IP28 also removes exemptions for rodeos, hunting, fishing, commercially grown poultry, slaughter of livestock, handling and training techniques, trapping, wildlife management practices, control of vermin or pests, teaching involving animals. Oregon has 31 rodeos yearly.

Oregon’s IP28 the PEACE Act removes exemptions from Animal Cruelty law and Sexual Abuse law. They remove the word “Cruelly “ from “Cruelly causes the death of an animal” in animal cruelty statutes. Also removes good animal husbandry…. Removed words are italicized & in brackets.

Oregon’s IP28 also removes “Humane Euthanasia” exemption to animal cruelty statutes. Reptile owners would be interested in the continuous access to exercise part that removes the language “For a domestic animal”…

@GoDucksBob @Tneliton No. Not about human abortion. IP28 is about changing animal cruelty laws into animal harming laws regardless of whether cruelty was involved. Also changes accepted animal husbandry practices and assisted breeding practices (including artificial insemination) into sex crimes.
