In dit debat tussen Van Houwelingen van FVD en een VVD'er zie je heel goed hoe de Nederlandse politiek en media werken. Onlangs kreeg Thomas Erdbrink er al van langs toen hij Russen aan het woord liet, hetzelfde zagen we toen Willem Oltmans Soekarno aan het woord liet terwijl de Nederlandse overheid een boycot had afgedwongen in de Nederlandse media (Oltmans werd ontslagen door de Telegraaf). Het standpunt van de tegenstander mag niet gehoord worden. Ook in dit fragment met Van Houwelingen zie je dat niemand (behalve FVD) in de 2e Kamer belang heeft bij het standpunt van de Russen. Een heel vreemd uitgangspunt natuurlijk als vrede je uiteindelijke doel is.
