Countdown has started 🛰️ PAVE is launching GRAZE, our first fully designed orbital mission, from scratch to integration in 3 months. Goal is simple, derisk our onboard computer in #space, build flight heritage and prove our tech where it matters 🇨🇭🚀

New test site ! 🇨🇭🏔️ Located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, we’ll soon begin testing LYOBA’s main engine at the former Chavalon thermal power plant in Valais. First campaigns start this summer. More updates soon as we bring the first stand online.

From scratch to ignition in 4 months 🔥⏱️ Our first RCS firing campaign demonstrate our ability to execute rapidly. Next, we run qualification with the goal of serial production by year end for Lyoba and commercial missions.

Test like you fly, fly like you test 🚀 We design fault tolerant, space grade electronics and prove it under radiation. Few weeks ago we blasted our TMR Computer with high energy protons, simulated in-orbit radiation and got expected faults occurred, all mitigated.

Today we celebrate the Anniversary of Colibri’s last flight!🚀 One year ago, we flew Europe’s first #VTVL rocket hopper. Since then, we’ve grown to 25 people, secured funding & first revenue, and started derisking key tech as we develop for Europe’s first heavy-class kickstage🛰️

🚀 Getting a sense of scale! Our #propulsion team designed the first iteration of our #ThrustChamberAssembly and 3D-printed a 1:1 plastic mockup to verify interfaces. Next step: review, validation, and #manufacturing. 🔧

Hardware-in-the-loop testing is starting!🕹 Our avionics and #GNC team has built our #HiL test stand to connect the vehicle simulation, GNC computer, and #TVC actuators. The sim runs on a dedicated computer, algorithms execute in real time, and actuator feedback closes the loop🚀

Igniter testing complete! 🚀🔥 This summer, our propulsion team tested multiple igniter designs, gaining key insights into the parameters that enable reliable ignition. Armed with this data, we’re moving forward with more confidence toward the full design of our main engine!

First PCB successfully tested! 🛠️ We finished design and manufacturing of the prototype of our main avionics board, successfully completing functionality test! Built on a triple modular redundant (TMR) architecture, it enables single-fault tolerance for our kickstage avionics ⚡

We’ve achieved ignition of our torch igniter prototype for our main engine! 🔥 After the catalyst tests that we did recently, we’ve shift focused to our torch igniter prototype. It runs on HTP and RP-1, the same propellant we intend to use for our main engine! 🚀
