Vehicle vs. Tractor-Trailer:
101 NB at Palmer Road. Heavy fog in the area. A solo female occupant in the vehicle sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center by ground ambulance. The tractor-trailer driver was evaluated, and no treatment was necessary.
During foggy conditions, please be cautious, use low-beam headlights, and slow down.

Vehicle VS. Motorcycle: Hollister Ave./Coromar Dr., Goleta. Motorcyclist sustained major injuries from the collision, was transported to Cottage hospital on ground ambulance. Driver of the vehicle had no injuries. Contact Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office for further information. CT. 4:44p

Single Vehicle Incident: W Camino Cielo Road.
Crash-notification technology from a 2025 Toyota Tacoma alerted 911 to a possible crash. SBC Fire, CHP, and other resources responded.
Crews drove approximately 7 miles past the pavement’s end and located the truck about 300 ft over the side, down the slope. No one was found inside.
Fire personnel located a deceased middle-aged male in steep, vegetated terrain. Crews and a drone operator are continuing to search the area for any additional victims. CT 9:35 PM
