This is a completely out of control problem not just in law school but in every school. It is grossly unfair to the students who do not seek extra time. And on some kinds of tests, time is critical. Especially standardized tests like the SAT and LSAT. It strains credulity to believe this many students require so much extra time for genuine medical reasons.

I'd argue the Constitution essentially failed after Marbury v. Madison was allowed to stand. You can't have a government where one branch is allowed to assert the extent of its own powers and there's no meaningful way to push back within the legal structure.

Unpopular opinion: Legal IS special, different, and difficult. Even for AI models. Why? Because plausibility isn’t enough. Quality and accuracy really matter. Their names and reputations are at stake. And you can’t bull shit lawyers about what they need for their work. We can smell bull shit miles away.

@lawheroezV2 AI can (and should and will) change how legal work is done. I absolutely welcome the enhanced ability of clients to use AI to gain their own understanding before engaging with legal counsel. But I see something very different than “replacement” coming.
