@AndyHermanNFL @JacobWestendorf What does it mean that the assistant head coaches are also under the offensive and defensive coordinators? Or do I have something backwards?

@AndyHermanNFL From your assessment, seems very underwhelming. What could they be thinking? Unless we didn’t have enough missed tackles last year!

On today’s show I take a full look at the trade that sent Colby Wooden to the Colts and Zaire Franklin to the Packers. Plus my scouting report on Franklin and what he can bring to the Packers in 2026. Don’t miss it!!! m.youtube.com/watch?v=gC5MOK…

@jasonjwilde Is it possible Gary was carrying extra weight to work in the 4-3 and that slowed him down later in the season?

@AndyHermanNFL Great simulation episode! Future podcast? What would you do differently than the offseason simulation? Why?

@Paul_Bretl Is it possible Gary’s performance was affected by increased weight gain to support the 4-3, and loss of weight and 3-4 shifts will improve performance?

The Packers needed more from Rashan Gary down the stretch. So what does the future hold for him heading into the 2026 offseason? Story here ⬇️ madison.com/sports/profess…

@JenGabeChewy @WildeAndTausch Isn’t the reason we are wringing our hands over limited changes in the front office and coaching staff because they are not communicating the self reflection that shows they recognize the issues and are working to fix them?

@zachkruse2 To your point, do we know what’s needed here? Can we solve the mystery of up tempo offense and not running snap counts to zero?

@jasonjwilde Gannon’s game experience might have been a differentiator given how poorly Pack missed in game adjustments. On the other hand, maybe he was selected because he wasn’t a better media presence than MLF as Hafley was.

Feels to me like Leonhard vs. Gannon will be the defensive coordinator version of the age-old the-#Packers-passed-on-a-Wisconsin-guy conversation. (Myself included.) • Troy Vincent vs. T-Buck, 1993 • Chris Chambers vs. Robert Ferguson, 2001 • T.J. Watt vs. Kevin King, 2017
Ian Rapoport@RapSheet

Sources: The #Bills are hiring #Broncos defensive passing game coordinator Jim Leonhard as their new defensive coordinator. They have agreed to terms. A big hire for new coach Joe Brady. The former player, Leonhard was coveted.

I mean, just a thought, if you’re going to have the dumbest penalty of the NFL season, maybe cover Puka Nacua next play. But just a thought.

@TomPelissero @AaronNagler Gannon has a tough act to follow. Getting consistent pass rush and turnovers will help.

@ESPNMilwaukee I’d like the one who can teach fundamentals and adjust strategies during the game to stay ahead of the other team.

#dolphins went with leadership this offseason - Hafley proved to be a culture warrior and a good play caller with #Packers - don’t love this hire for Green Bay, but man did this guy perfectly execute the plan…

@ESPNMilwaukee It’s possible but players will have to step up and develop or he will have to adjust his game management and play calling strategy or both.

@TomSilverstein I took it as a warning if no change. Now it’s up to MLF and players to deliver the needed changes and adjustments.

For sure. I called for someone’s job. I’d expect the worst regardless who it was. But that’s the business. FWIW, it wasn’t a condemnation of him as a coach or a person. It was about a need for change. It’s hard to introduce real change after 7 years.
NorthernContrarian@NorthernContrar

@SarahAnnRhoades @TomSilverstein @journalsentinel Not saying he was wrong. Just when you call for someone's head and they survive, it makes the future relationship a little tricky.
