As someone who has been watching and believing in @PacoTheChicken since the beginning, and someone who studied both psychology and computer science in school, I want to provide some constructive criticism. I can understand how frustrating it is to work hard every day and feel like you're not being rewarded or appreciated, I really can. Watching things unfold as they have the past 24-hours it's clear you've reached your breaking point. But when you decide to launch a utility token/project and expect it to be profitable, it's very similar to running a business. You've got to have a solid plan, know your market, and know your customers. It's true that the average investor web 3.0 is impatient, ignorant, and entitled, but that's the environment that you decided to launch into and the people that you chose as your customer base! We all know a day in crypto can feel like a week+ at times and promising deadlines and then missing them repeatedly by days/weeks at times with very little communication is sure to send a bad message to the holders of your token. That isn't to say that you have to work even more hours to deliver or that you aren't allowed to be late, but you've got to be tactful about it. You really needed a solid community manager that could set expectations, do damage control, keep the people engaged, and smooth things over when a deadline is missed. The reason why the majority of the successful projects out there either employ/outsource devs or are working in conjunction with a community manager is because there is a completely different skillset involved in selling to/managing customers expectations than there is coding. It's like trying to have an operations manager at a company run the sales department, there's very few people that excel at both. People aren't like machines where you input utility and output token buys. They have feelings and emotions(mostly irrational ones in this space) and need to be finessed and/or babied from time to time. All of this isn't to say that Paco didn't develop some great things on abstract, there's a reason why so many people believed in the project(and continue to). It's more of a reminder that when things go wrong it's easy to blame others or circumstances beyond our control, but there were a ton of steps that could have been taken along the way to avoid this outcome. If you want to be the main guy going forward in any arena, use this as a learning opportunity and understand that when you're the one at the front that you're always the one who's responsible. Otherwise, just join an already made project where you can focus on the dev work that you so clearly loved. Hope you take this in the way that it was intended and not as shade, and I wish you the best of luck going forward.
