@BillyCarroll21 @kevincowlan @SteveWhiteLOFC But the key difference is that Walsall’s owners have publicly stated a short-term goal to get promoted to L1 (so this season is a ‘failure’ on that goal) - whereas our owners want to become a sustainable Championship club within the next 10 years (i.e far less urgency)

@OrientOutlook I enjoyed that. Couldn’t fault the effort-level from a single player. Probably Bakinson’s best game for us, Clare did really well, and Forrester is class. The 3 debutants all look like they’ll improve the team. We’re hopefully moving in the right direction now.

We never lose at Edgely Park as the game finishes goalless as the O’s pick up a point & a clean sheet at Stockport County with our transfer deadline day signings making their debuts… Thoughts on today? #LOFC

@Falcon_Ori @leytonorientfc Let’s be honest, Happe is a solid defender and a great club servant - but he’s definitely not a leader / captain material. Seemed a strange choice for vice captain in the first place.

@leytonorientfc Bizarre. Our summer appointed leadership team has seen the captain frozen out and sold, and the vice captain not upgraded but no longer the vice captain, instead the guy who’s been here for 4 weeks and injured for 2 of them is now the captain.

@leytonorientfc Feels like a good choice, as long as we can get him fit (I’m taking it as an encouraging sign that the club have faith in him being a regular starter). From the little we’ve seen so far, he’s a good talker & leader on the pitch (and we don’t seem to have many of them…).
