I had a productive meeting with @EDSecMcMahon. We talked about my legislation, the Returning Education to Our States Act and her support for getting legislation signed into law - a necessary path forward in Congress to achieve our common goal. Getting rid of the bureaucratic overhead and administrative costs allows us to instead put more money into the critical federal programs that will remain for special ed, children with disabilities, tribal education, high-poverty areas, Impact Aid, career and technical education and Pell grants.
