Perry CEO had an incredible morning with Irl Engelhardt and learned of his career path from sweeping floors to being a high-level CEO with Peabody Coal. Irl emphasized developing a plan and focus on a strategy. He gave many examples of strong leadership skills for the group.

Perry CEO visited with Mayor Guy Alongi, City of Du Quoin today. Mayor Alongi spoke about city government and the importance of small business in the City. He emphasized customer service being the highest priority no matter how big or small the business. Thanks, Mayor Alongi.

Business Spotlight! Macy Epplin, owner of MCups, will personalize a mug at your request. Her CEO business is now off and running. Today she made the sale of an adorable mug to a doxie lover! MCups will be at the upcoming Perry CEO Trade Show on Thursday, May 2 - 6:30- 8:00

Perry CEO joined forces with Jefferson County CEO and Franklin County EDGE Program and visited with The US Army Corps of Engineers & The Rend Lake Conservancy District.

CEO visited a great Perry County store, Kellerman's Feed & Supply. Owner, Doug Kellerman, talked about his journey in small business & how important it is to listen to your customers. Doug is a former CEO Board Member & we thank him for the support!

Business Spotlight! NJ Firepits is our CEO business of the week. Owners, Noah Conner & James Lamke, design and build portable firepits.

Savanna Kathleen Photography came to CEO today. Savanna James Burgarbe discussed her experiences through the years of photographing weddings, engagements and family photos. Savanna now has a studio in Carterville but many ties to Perry County.

Students helped board membe Sarah Sronce, with domestic violence training.

CEO visited Nathan Meagher with Edward Jones to learn about money management and investments. Thanks Nathan!

Students had a great morning @ Continental Tire. They had a grand tour of the facility & heard about the future plans to continue expanding in Mt. Vernon. They also learned of the economic impact the plant has on the region. Thank you Bridget & Vince for your time!
