Youth who age out of foster care without permanent family or support are at higher risk of unstable housing, limited education, work experience, health issues, and court involvement. Permanent and stable living situations are the key to a successful adulthood.

On average, and too often, by the time teens and young adults arrive at Plummer, they have spent more than 2,500 days in the system. Our Intensive Permanency Services team works with youth on goals of reunification, adoption, guardianship, independent living, and kinship care.
