Both OKX and Binance are regulated by multiple regulators. As the UBO of a regulated company, publicly offering a $1 billion bet is hardly professional conduct. I would be curious whether Binance’s regulators consider that acceptable. As for whether you have misled the public and lie to world, the test is actually simple: has your Binance stake been legally separated with your ex-wife or not? Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos have already shown what proper asset separation looks like in a divorce.

CZ constantly talks about the story of “selling a house to buy Bitcoin.” But what is the full truth behind it? Where did the down payment for that house originally come from? And whose house was actually sold?
When using this story to portray himself as visionary and repeatedly showcasing it as an achievement, did he ever consider the feelings of his wife’s parents — who supported their daughter and son-in-law back then and are now elderly?
There are many things I have never disclosed publicly — in fact, I’ve never even wanted to revisit them. Taking advantage of someone’s misfortune or using private life for moral attacks has never been my principle. If it weren’t for that book full of falsehoods dragging me into this, I would never have brought up these old matters again.

I finished reading CZ’s book, and honestly I didn’t feel hyped at all.
I felt chills down my spine.
Most people treat this like a startup story.
To me, it reads like a crypto survival guide.
From Binance’s explosive expansion to CZ navigating global regulators left and right,
one brutal truth hit me hard:
In this space, being right on the trend isn’t enough.
You gotta dodge the risk, survive the cycles, and outrun human nature.

I had no intention of revisiting these old issues involving CZ from when I was younger. But since I’ve been dragged into this again because of the book, let’s restate the facts. During his time at OKCoin, evidence of contract falsification was already made public on the internet 12 years ago. The YouTube video released at the time is still available: youtube.com/watch?v=WWVeEu… Timeline of the video: •0:00 – Connect to the notary’s internet •1:00 – Log in to the accountant’s QQ account •1:26 – Search for the former employee’s contact and chat history •1:35 – Chat records and all previously sent attachments appear on the right. Here you can see both contract versions v7 and v8 sent to the accountant (v7 sent on Dec 16, 2014 at 15:17:24; v8 sent on Dec 16, 2015 at 19:29:47) •1:55 – Open contract v8 for review (this is the version with the 6-month termination clause) •2:15 – The 6-month termination clause is visible on the last line of the contract •2:22 – Open contract v7 for review •2:54 – Open the former employee’s passport (redacted) •3:02 – Former employee’s public QQ account After seeing this evidence, his response at the time was that he did not frequently use QQ, and that his account may have been accessed by another OKCoin employee hired by me, who then fabricated these chat records.
