At some point in life, you realize money, attraction, and attention are not enough. What the heart truly wants is something real, love that is genuine, calm, and lasting. Everything else fades, but love remains the foundation of every meaningful connection. As written in 1 Corinthians 13, love is the greatest of all.

Some people are busy debating whether Peter Obi could fix Nigeria in four years. Well, I will blame it on your ignorance of history. Go and read what Jakande, famously called the “Architect of Lagos” did in Lagos state within four years, 1979-1983? He constructed mega Housing Estates, the Lekki-Epe Expressway, the Toikin Bridge linking Ikorodu to Epe, and constructed nearly all major roads interlinking Lagos towns. His works are the most solid in Lagos state to date. His vision for Lagos as a 21st-century megacity stayed until Tinubu came into power and introduced Agberotocracy. The only governors who pursued Jakande’s vision and got it right after him were Fashola and Ambode. Yet, Fashola’s 8 years couldn't outshine Jakande’s 4 years. Why so? Well, Fashola had to pay tithe to Lagos’ Landlord with the resources he was meant to use to work for Lagosians. Four years are enough for Peter Obi to drag Nigeria away from the abyss that she's headed and put her on the right path of economic recovery and development. Four years are enough to set up systems and structures that will pivot development and progress in Nigeria. What is necessary is Obi’s vision for Nigeria, and his capacity and political will to bring it into reality. ✍️

@PeterObi This is exactly why we call you “Principal”, Sir. While others are busy with noise and photo-ops, you’re quietly doing the real work. Building relationships, discussing trade, MSMEs, agriculture, and manufacturing. Your focus on small businesses as the engine of growth is spot on. Nations like China, Indonesia, and Vietnam didn’t become economic powers by chance, they prioritized and supported their MSMEs. Nigeria can do the same. Thank you for consistently showing what serious leadership looks like. We are with you on this journey. A New and Revitalised Nigeria is POssible! 🇳🇬🙏

Today, I held meetings in London with some stakeholders in British politics and business community, including Lord Jonathan Marland, the Chairman of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC). The discussion with Lord Marland held particular importance as it centred on prospective trade opportunities, economic advancement, and the promotion of small businesses throughout Nigeria. It is clear that fostering a robust economy and generating employment, as evidenced by rapidly growing nations like China, Indonesia, and Vietnam, necessitates a concerted effort to prioritise support for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. As I have consistently asserted, our micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) serve as the driving force behind economic growth, and it is imperative that we provide them with vigorous support to enhance development and create significant employment opportunities, particularly within the agriculture and manufacturing sectors. A New and revitalised Nigeria is POssible. -PO

This lad is so good and very promising talent. I wish we can give him a chance next season to prove more of him self in the first team. JJ Gabriel has the talent and potential. Very skillful and flexible player. I have no doubt that he will be a success if our next coming coach can trust in him. We cannot give this boy to Carrick. We need a new coach and tactical one.

@elonmusk This is the right move. Transparency builds trust. When people believe the algorithm can be secretly manipulated, they lose faith in the entire platform. Open-sourcing the recommendation system (or at least the core parts that influence what people see) is one of the strongest ways to prove there’s no hidden agenda. Actions like this separate platforms that want to control narratives from those that truly want to empower users. More of this please. Transparency should be the default, not the exception. #X #Transparency

This is so painful and heartbreaking. Al Nassr just threw away the win again in the dying minutes!! How will that happen in 98minutes OMG! Ronaldo was fighting like a lion as usual, giving everything, but the team let him down once more. So disappointed to allowed a goal in the 98mins. League will be decided in last match. CR7 deserves better teammates. He deserves better service. #Ronaldo #AlNassrr

@firstladyship This is a very valid observation. Nigeria, still regarded as the Giant of Africa, had its President at a major continental summit in Kenya, yet he did not address the gathering. That silence speaks volumes. As a constructive critic, I believe this is not just about one missed speech. It reflects a broader issue. Our current leadership is increasingly becoming invisible on the continental and global stage. We used to lead conversations in Africa. Today, we are attending but not contributing meaningfully. This diminishes our influence and weakens our voice when it matters most. True leadership is not just about attending summits. It is about showing up with substance, vision, and the ability to speak for the continent. We deserve better representation. #PublicInterest #Nigeria

Dear Nigerians, PAY ATTENTION! At the ongoing “Africa Forward Summit” in Nairobi, Kenya, Emmanuel Macron addressed the leaders of Africa. William Ruto of Kenya did. The young Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye addressed the Summit as well. I did not see Bola Ahmed Tinubu (who arrived in the early hours of Monday, May 11, 2026, to participate in the Summit, address the crowd). In keeping with APC’s abysmal foreign outings, Bola managed to hold meetings at the sidelines. Nigeria is no longer at the top of the pecking order in Africa. Cyril Ramaphosa’s South Africa leads the continent. Followed by Paul Kagame’s Rwanda, Kenya, Egypt, Morocco, then Ghana. Nigeria is left to wallow in rampant obscurity. He lost Mali, Niger, & Burkina Faso to the AES. The ECOWAS bloc became a shadow of itself on Tinubu’s watch. Each time he went abroad with other African leaders, he was always at the back. It’s as if he is shy or intimated by others. And don’t tell me about sitting arrangement. Because Obasanjo was always at the front. Statecraft & gravitas are not something you learn on the job. You either have it or you don’t! OBJ marshaled the rest of the continent like a colossus. Nigeria was the most conspicuous in the room, the most recognizable. OBJ carried the conscience of Africa wherever he went. He was right in his recent interview. “Nigeria has lost its relevance in Africa & around the world. You are no longer “at the table” of global decision-making. Nigeria can no longer influence events beyond its borders.” Your Foreign Policy took a hit in twelve years. Ruto seized the opportunity to market Kenya for sports & tourism when he teased Macron (who raced Kenya’s marathon icon, Kipchoge). It was a light-hearted moment, but one that positioned Kenya for global investments. The inaugural event is co-chaired by Ruto & Macron. Accused of neo-colonial meddling in Africa, France is looking for new frontiers & partnerships on the African continent. The Forward Summit focused on economic transformation, green industrialization, digital innovation, & sustainable development. My hope is that Nigeria will get it right in 2027. Bola Tinubu has wasted everyone’s time. Who will replicate OBJ’s Foreign Policy or better it?

Four years is enough to change a country when leadership is driven by vision, competence and sincerity. Peter Obi has shown through his record in Anambra that prudent leadership and clear priorities can transform lives within a short time. A leader with foresight does not need decades to make impact, just the political will to do the right things from day one. In just a few years, Nigerians have seen how the policies of Bola Tinubu have deepened hardship, worsened inflation and reduced the purchasing power of ordinary citizens. That alone shows how much impact leadership can have, either positively or negatively, within four years. On the other hand, Alex Otti has shown in Abia that purposeful leadership can quickly restore hope, improve infrastructure and reposition a state for growth in a short period of time. Good leadership changes things fast. Nigeria does not need long years of excuses, it needs four years of competence, prudence and vision. #NigeriaWillBeOk

@EstherUmoh10 Well said, ma’am. The idea that a serious leader needs 8 years before we can see real change is one of the most dangerous mentalities in Nigerian politics today. It is exactly what bad governance has trained us to accept. A competent, focused, and transparent leader like Peter Obi does not need two terms to begin fixing the basics. Security, education, health, and the economy. Four years is more than enough to show visible, measurable improvement if the will and competence are there. The “give them 8 years” narrative is mostly used by people defending failed or mediocre candidates. It’s a shield for poor performance. True leadership is measured by results, not by time spent in office. If a governor or president cannot show serious progress in 4 years, the problem is not the constitution. It is the leader. We need to start demanding real performance from Day 1. #PublicInterest #Obidient

@EmmanuelMacron With due respect, Mr. President, this sounds noble, but history tells a different story. France has long maintained strong economic and military influence across many African countries, including through the CFA franc system, military bases, and resource deals that have often benefited France more than the host nations. Nigeria and several other African countries have repeatedly raised concerns about these imbalances. True partnership and sovereignty cannot begin with lectures on shared challenges while the structural imbalances created over decades still exist. Africa does not need more “defence” of European involvement. We need genuine respect for our sovereignty, fair trade, and the space to solve our own problems without external interference. Peace, prosperity, and real sovereignty will come when African nations control their resources and destinies not when external powers continue to shape them for their own benefit. Africa is open to genuine partnership. But it must be one of equals, not one of continued influence. #PublicInterest #Africa #Sovereignty

This is the everyday reality for millions of Lagosians and Nigerians, endless traffic, long hours on the road, stress, and lost productivity. Just to survive. Just to get to work. Just to feed the family. While some people in power move around with ease and luxury, the average citizen battles this kind of madness every single day. As a constructive critic, this picture reminds me that governance is not just about big projects. It is about making life easier for the people, better roads, functional public transport, and real urban planning. When will our leaders feel what the average Nigerian feels daily? What’s one thing you wish the government would fix to reduce this kind of daily suffering? #PublicInterest #LagosTraffic #Nigeria

@PeterObi Happy World Nurses and Midwives Day! 🙏 Thank you for always recognising the incredible work our nurses and midwives do under very difficult conditions. They truly are the heartbeat of our health system. As a young Nigerian preparing to step fully into the workforce after NYSC, I’m inspired by your consistent emphasis on investing in critical sectors like healthcare and education. May God continue to strengthen and reward all our nurses and midwives for their selfless service. We are with you on this journey, sir. A New Nigeria is POssible! 🇳🇬

On this World Nurses Day, I would like to take a moment to appreciate all the nurses and midwives in our dear nation, who occupy a very special place and play very critical roles in our health sector. As one who has been on the vanguard of investing in our critical sectors of human and national development, I have always maintained that you, our dear nurses, are the heart of our health sector. Over the years, I have traversed different corners of our nation supporting different schools and colleges of nursing and midwifery because I understand the inevitable role you play in our healthcare delivery. As you mark this special day, I wish to, firstly, thank you for all your efforts and sacrifices. Your compassion, sacrifice, and resilience keep our nation alive. And secondly, I wish to encourage you not to relent in your service to humanity. Nigerian nurses work under some of the toughest conditions with dignity and courage. From physical and mental stress to high patient-to-nurse ratios, to lack of equipment and poor working environments, your resilience keeps our health sector going. And beyond the shores of the nation, our nurses have continued to make exploits on the global stage. From leading the next generation research in nursing practice to championing excellence in clinical practice—many Nigerian nurses have written their names on the sands of time and lifted our national banner high. I celebrate you all. My firm commitment to you all remains this — we will build a New Nigeria where your hard work and sacrifices will never go unnoticed. We will invest in your education and training to ensure that you remain competitive on the global stage. Happy World Nurses Day to you all. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Busy day at work today, yet my mind still kept wandering back to survival, bills, responsibilities, the endless hustle. Sometimes you’re moving, working, praying… but the results feel slow in this country. Still, I choose to keep pushing with faith. To everyone who had a long, stressful Monday like me how did your day go? Drop a “🙏” if you’re still trusting God despite the pressure. No! And don’t get me wrong. I didn’t said in my write up that Yamal is not a good player. I only said the hype is too much on him and also the reason Raphinha lost the Ballon D’ or to Dembele. Barca should have give all the PR to Raphinha instead of Yamal. But you know Spanish will always be Spanish.
