Jesus’ disciples healed the sick in His name. With Christ in us, we can do His works too. I have no problem with this — I lay hands on sick people and pray for them all the time. The people outraged by this are just looking for something to be mad about. Trump is openly praying for the sick — and as Protestants, we still believe in the power of prayer. It’s that simple.

It presents laying on of hands as one of the signs that should follow Christians.
