To the Governor of Plateau State @CalebMutfwang Over the past months, the people of Plateau State have faced consistent attacks from online propagandists who intend to denigrate the people of Plateau State, while at the same time, trying to claim lands in their areas They’re facing history revisionists who also intend to back date the dates of their arrival (to justify conquest) It is happening at a time when the people of Plateau State are facing Fulani terrorist attacks in the villages and Hausa settler violence in their cities They’re also facing audacious settlers who are making demands (about political positions) and maintaining that there will only be peace when they give up lands and political positions in the state The solution has never been simpler. There needs to be crack down on people online and offline who intend to keep flaming the embers of violence in Plateau State. Since the matter primarily involves indigene and settlers, and there seems to be an attempt to flood Plateau State with migrants from Niger Republic, Chad etc, there needs to be an invalidation of past indigene forms meaning indigenes need to get new valid copies from the state government Security agencies also need to enhance the questioning of individuals who seem to be non Nigerians in the State Also, there needs to be a state wide marking of properties illegally built for demolition This is because there seems to be a surge in illegal buildings in the state all in the bid to boost settler numbers Lastly, to the people of Plateau State, there is a need to unite and to create a state wide vigilante outfit (that covers all hunters in all the 54 ethnicities in the state) These attacks have been effective in the state because these attacks are organized, the attackers understand the fractures in relationship between most of the groups in the state and are also using the diversity in the state against the natives There is a need for this newly created outfit to work hand in hand with the government created operation rainbow, to repel attacks from foreign elements who seek to usurp the natives from your lands - Patrick Anum
