Field Day is in full swing at Summer Lake!! ❤️🐢❤️🐢

Mrs. Seeno has riddles every week on her door when she welcomes students to the library! PS-The answer is “because Summer Lake students are so bright!” ❤️🐢

Our first graders went to the Oakley Police Department, the park, and Grocery Outlet. They learned so much!

Ms. Furnary’s second graders are “kind” troopers. They wrote messages for every class in the school. May the fourth be with you! This is the way Sea 🐢

Fifth grade poster arrives! The students were so excited to see their names displayed in the cafeteria! ❤️🐢

Thank you to 3rd Grade Teacher Mrs. Langley and our Office Manager Ms. Theresa for planning our first ever Math Whiz competition. Its like the spelling bee of math. 3-5 grade students had the opportunity to participate: I am so impressed with the skills our student showed!

TK and third grade participated in art lessons sponsored by our fabulous PTA today. They learned about rainbow colors, neutrals, and also used oil pastel crayons! ❤️🐢❤️🐢

Summer Lakes’ first dance was a success. Thank you PTA for sponsoring this wonderful event.

It’s our first day of classroom visits with Apex. Today’s focus lesson was “F”earless!

Our second graders learned all about what the public library has to offer. Students that filled out applications received their library cards, enjoyed a story, and every student received a certificate for a FREE book when they visit the library. ⁦@contracostalib⁩

Summer Lake held our first annual Spelling Bee. We started with over 40 3-5 graders, got down to 11 finalists, and have a winner and runner up. Congratulations to 4th grader Juan H. who qualified for Regionals. Genevieve M. is our runner up. Go Sea 🐢🐢!
