@JedKMeshew Well said Jed. If they were able to add Cyborg vs Holly Holm, that would be big for everyone involved I’d think. Not to mention, it sets up the winner for another fight with the winner of Ronda/Gina.

If I were Cris Cyborg, instead of trying to dunk on Ronda to score internet points over something that happened a lifetime ago and truly does not matter, I'd use this as an opportunity to align on a shared interest, and maybe get on the Netflix card, too.

@TheRajGiri Ever since Smackdown went back to 3 hours I find it harder to watch. I never watch it live anymore, usually don’t watch it that weekend and then end up watching it in chunks over the next 3-4 days of the following week. Raw on the other hand is a quick watch comparatively.

I don't know, I was surprised by this one, the competition wasn't particularly strong that night. You had the NBA and World Baseball Classic, but those numbers weren't anything that should have caused a drop like that. Maybe people are tired of Drew vs. Cody. WWE likely made the right call not going with a variation of that match for WrestleMania

It seems laughable this is 9/10, but Ariel is merely being realistic. He is working in the reality UFC simply can't make the biggest fights happen.

I think the White House card is a very good card. I'd give it a 9 out of 10. In a vacuum, this is the best PPV card we've gotten in a very long time — Topuria and Pereira on the same card. The problem is that expectations were just incredibly high. Two things that would have been great but just didn't work out were having Kayla defend her title and Gable Steveson make his debut — two gold medalists.

Nielsen updated their ratings data last week, which explains the bigger numbers for wrestling last week. Below are the numbers for wrestling last week with the new ratings methodology, with the prior week's numbers in parens that used the old methodology:
#SmackDown: 1.26M viewers / 0.29 P18-49 (943K / 0.22)
#AEWDynamite: 653K / 0.09 (498K / 0.08)
#AEWCollision: 492K / 0.07 (253K / 0.02)
This shows the power that Nielsen has to affect ratings by just tweaking with their methodology.
