@HeartTank64 There was a real narrative depth that was lacking this season. It all just felt plastic. It was fine, there were moments, but there was nothing like watching Simbal desperately trying to use PUA shit, Lubecooch, Jimmy, or Chris. S4 was the AIDS season yet this was worse.

Now that its been a day since season 5 has ended. What's your honest opinion of it as a whole? Did what happen this season with the Kick crossover really purge a lot of old fans and bring in new ones? Will it be more mainstream in the future? Or are you over it, and moving on?

That’s a wrong opinion if I ever read one. Punk was alright, but it predated the 80s, and was followed by “post-punk”, which was a massive category of great music. All kinds of awesome music from the 80s. Snakefinger, Bowie was still making good stuff, Ministry, Sonic Youth, Scratch Acid, holy shit. I could write a list longer than an elephant dick!

@atticusflynch All the other seasons were way more wholesome. For all the fucked up shit that was going on there was moments when Sam or Frank would show genuine compassion for the fish and what was going on in their lives. There was none of that this season.
