@AshCrypto Then blame the people who are using leverage longing and shorting. Can't blame those who see the opportunity to liquidate them. If people just spot bought we wouldn't see half the volatility that we do.

The only logical explanation for these dumps is that crypto is now just a manipulation tool for Wall Street and institutions. Days of parabolic runs are over. It’s now just pump and dump for insiders to make money by liquidating longs and shorts. That’s it. Find a new addiction.

For @bitcoinpolicyuk, the clue is in the name - the policies come first. We are and will remain a non-partisan organization. But having said this, we will explicitly support good policies that are advanced by any of the UK's political parties. Some parties have been more responsive to our advice and expertise than others, and we are encouraged to see policies emerging from @ReformUK that deal with capital gains tax and with debanking in particular. There is more to do, and the draft bill could go further - perhaps empowering relevant Secretaries of State to create secondary legislation and/or commission feasibility studies on the integration of mining with our renewable grid as a demand response; or explicit protections for the developers of open source code and clarification that self-custodial wallet software is not and will never be any form of money transmission business. But make no mistake, this draft bill is a huge step forward, and better than anything we have yet seen from any of the other parties on an issue that is extremely important to the seven million voters who hold Bitcoin and cryptoassets, and who may well give their votes to parties that develop policies such as these.

@ZynxBTC Labour will 100 percent not get any backing from the Bitcoin lobby. They could not have done any more to be obstructive and dismissive. Supporting Bitcoin should be a no brainer. Most people don't care (you lose no votes by supporting it). But those who do care, care A LOT.

He has just spoken at Bitcoin 2025, setting out how the US now recognises the strategic importance of Bitcoin and is determined for the nation to lead the world in this field. On the right is a letter received today from @EmmaforWycombe , Economic Secretary to the Treasury in the UK, setting out how the UK will continue to ignore Bitcoin and miss out on all the benefits it will offer. The dissonance could not be more jarring.

Do you guys ever go back through who you follow and delete inactive accounts? I follow 1,300 but only see like 100 accounts each day lol Also why do big accounts only follow about 500 people? Is that a standard thing or what?

If you own any amount of bitcoin at all, you have more than Apple, Google Microsoft and Nvidia combined. We are still early.
