This would deem the contract ended due to 'frustration' meaning he cannot fulfil the contract. LFC paying out the remainder to his family is an act of pure class.

My contract does not have an expiry date. Most football clubs will be obliged to pay up to a player's death. LFC paying out his contract is pure class.
