The Students’ Union is closing this Thursday at 6pm, and will not reopen until the 28th at 8am. We will therefore be missing three sessions. To substitute, we’ve made this little schedule to keep everyone connected. Please take a look :)

Our AGM is on 16th April – QUB students can stand for President/Secretary/Treasurer online! Other roles will be elected on Discord. You must be a QUB student to vote, although non-students can stand for non-exec roles). No memberships will be sold from now until after the AGM.

The draw will take place at the ball and you must be there to win. Dragonslayers membership is required to purchase a Cosplay Ball ticket. Only 1 entry per person; if you have bought a ticket for someone else please get in contact to add their name - dragonslayers@qub.ac.uk.

(1/3) On Saturday 5th April, we’re hosting an unofficial VGC-Style tournament in Pokémon Scarlet/Violet. The format is VGC Regulation G (Single Restricted), Swiss best-of-3, with a top cut single elimination to determine the victor. Battles will happen on Pokémon Scarlet/Violet.

Q-Con will be returning to Queen’s University Belfast on the 14th & 15th of June! Organised by Dragonslayers, Q-Con is an event for the community run by the community. We work hard to put together the best event that will keep you entertained throughout the weekend.

DRAFT LEAGUE IS BACK ‼️ The Dragonslayers Pokémon Draft League returns for its fourth season! Pulling back the power level this time, with only lesser used pokémon available, players will need to show creativity and ingenuity in teambuilding and in battle to come out on top.

as usual, membership will be needed for the pizza. our usual events, like board games and west marches, will still go ahead. we hope to see you there :)

EXTENDED SESSION ALERT‼️ this saturday we are having an extended session, lasting from 1pm-9pm! in celebration of valentine’s, we’re getting in some sweet treats from french village as well as pizza! we’ve also got some funky events on. (see graphic below)

Hear ye, hear ye, Cosplay Ball tickets are now on sale! Get them before they close on the 29th March. Dragonslayers membership is required for all attendees, including +1s.

Cosplay and/or formal attire is strongly encouraged. Cosplayers will have the chance to show off their outfits at the cosplay masquerade. Please note that a Dragonslayers membership is required to attend this event, which is strictly 18+. We can’t wait to see you there! 🎉

Dragonslayers invites you to our 40th anniversary cosplay ball! Meet us in the Mandela Hall on Saturday 12 April for an evening of dinner, drinks, dancing, cosplay, and games! Ticket sales begin on Tuesday 4th February. More event details will be shared in the coming weeks.
