@todd_stahl_art Wow—shocking is exactly right. Students have always loved Dali for the visual appeal and the depth. He is extraordinary in so many ways. But I thought Banksy would poll better.

@todd_stahl_art Upper right bracket is the strongest remaining bracket in this critic’s mind.

@todd_stahl_art A few impressions...Monet over Van Gogh is understandable but not my preference at all. But Manet over over Rembrandt is outrageous. And Picasso out is a travesty.

@GoldsteinENL This is sooo great. My favorite part is when one student says, “Wait wait I know the whole thing!!” Thank you for sharing this.

Our kids need daily social studies (and science) instruction in K-5 because “the idea that kids don’t need to acquire knowledge until after they’ve learned to read ignores the fact that gaining knowledge is part of learning to read.” forbes.com/sites/nataliew…

@KatieAndersonSD @missshelbyreed @mrs_smoke The Stanford History Group has some great Middle School resources. It allows students to be historians. And for inquiry, I would turn to C3 Teachers. There are adaptable OSR resources in both places.
