This Environmental Day That is being Revived in Lagos state is a Terrible Idea.
If you have lived in Lagos since 1999 you will know that Environmental Sanitation Day restricted Movements and Caused More Problems than it tried to Solve. Finally; IT DID NOT CLEAN JACK SHIT.
People missed Flights, Essential Goods & Services plus Ambulance & Hospitals couldn’t operate Freely. Private Cars and Transports Buses coming in from Other States were stopped at the Ojota Border till 10am etc. It was a Huge mess.
The LASG should face their Job of Waste Disposal Squarely and CutOut this Charade. You cannot be restricting People’s Movement in a whole 2026 just to “Clean” the Streets. wtf.. 😡😤🇳🇬
