I'm known for being against trans ideology. A lot of assumptions are made about my other views. So I'll clarify. Feel free to disagree. Free speech: Nearly absolute. Words are just words, offense over slurs just gives them power. Words only become a problem when used to shut down free speech. Gays: Generally don't care much either way, unless it is being forced upon others. My opinion has dropped due to the association with T. Trump: Never really ID'd as Maga. I think he had a decent start to his term, then went off the rails. He should focus on the USA, not other countries. Israel: Occupies the USA. They get the right to fight their wars while they get the left to espouse their ideas. Partly responsible for a lot of our current issues. Palestine: They do not deserve to be mass-killed. The retaliation for Oct. 7th far exceeds reasonableness, it's just slaughter now. Iran: Less informed about this one, but the entire situation is embarrassing. I think the fearmongering over them having nukes is a tad unreasonable. Religion: I was raised Christian, but was unable to believe it. If there is a God, he seems to be punishing me. I believe reality is material, but I respect others' religious freedom. Feminism: Modern-day feminism is anti-woman and seeks to force us into roles we weren't built for. Men do not deserve pointless hate. Babies are not parasites. Abortion: Generally a last resort. Should be allowed when extremely early or when causing health issues. Women who use it as birth control are scum. Immigration: All countries have a right to their own borders. Even legal immigration should be restricted. Access to the infrastructure of another culture is not a right. AI: Interesting. It has the potential for greatness when used properly, but it unfortunately won't be used properly in the majority of cases. It's useless to resist it. Guns: I generally respect people's right to own them. I admittedly don't see a point in allowing the specific types of guns that mass shooters use. Economy: Screwed, and neither party seems to be able to fix it. Very convenient that Occupy Wall Street was replaced by the culture war.

People complain about the word so much that they tried to replace it with slave in Mark Twain's books when referring to Jim. It not only changed the context, but lost the meaning when slave was actually used. Nevermind he was an abolitionist, and the stories were of the time. I've also watched Song of the South. It gets more hate than it deserves. It's set after the emancipation, so there are no slaves despite it being set on a plantation. In the human parts the brothers are the only characters I'd consider racist, and it's mild. In the animated parts Fox and Bear make a tar baby, a figure using tar, button eyes, a hat, and coat. The term is racist, and the figure is supposed to represent a person, which Rabbit gets annoyed with for being quiet. Two scenes out of a whole movie. I'd say both deserve to be in the public view as originally intended. Rather than shunned and locked in a vault, put them where conversation can be had.
