@TADCextremist I don’t agree with that take either, it was about the story and the characters, not propaganda or anything, and while it focused a lot on Jax toward the end that’s mainly because he’s one of two characters that can actually move the plot forward: Him and Caine

I think I figured out what feels weird about this post to me. It feels less like solid confirmation as canon and more like support for one of the more popular interpretations instead. That’s what I’m thinking, disrespect will be ignored.

@SpireHell666 Well I disagree that it was even hard confirmed, a social media post is a soft confirmation at best, I wouldn’t call it a reduction either, it’s just that not everyone shares the same interpretation of Jax and I can’t help but feel like she kept the clues vague for a reason

@zamiraxlm I hope people look at these scenes with nuance and don’t completely erase the original intent of the scene by making it all about his mom. Jax didn’t mind the hug at first, panicked when he realized they were getting too close, shoved her, and THEN started having mom flashes

@user823493247 I was watching since the pilot, I had missed out on following murder drones cause it flew under my radar, but after I saw the pilot for TADC I was hooked, every episode felt better than the last, maybe that’s just due to the improved animation over time or the long waits tho

jax only acted violent in the context of virtual space where the violence was silly and not real. his desire to create emotional distance, alienating himself from others was rooted in his own trauma. certainly not good or kind, but is it really wrong to want to save him?
