There was an old cryptocurrency called WorldCoin (WDC) from the early days of crypto. Launched in 2013 nearly as old as bitcoin, it had an active community and real market value. Years later, another project called Worldcoin (WLD), backed by Sam Altman, launched with a very similar name. Because that project was bigger and had more publicity, it took most of the attention. This caused confusion and a lot of negative talk around the original WDC, and over time the old project ($WDC) became inactive. The truth is that the history of WDC is real and can be checked through old listings, explorers, and records. Nothing about it is made up. Our goal now is simple: to bring attention back to a forgotten project and see how far a committed community can take it. In crypto, projects don’t always die. many are just abandoned. What we’re trying to do is revive an old chain with a strong story and community behind it.
