Happy world nursery rhyme week! We have loved singing a new nursery rhyme each day and engaging with the themed provision. A week of smiles and singing💚🎶 @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

This week we wore yellow to raise money and show our support for Zoe’s place. We also took part in a sponsored Zumbathon and even when we got tired we knew it was for a good cause so we gave it our all!💛☀️ @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

We all loved our first session of balance-ability this week! We were so brave and resilient during the workshop and we can’t wait to develop our skills over the next couple of weeks! 🚲@hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

We are delighted to share that we have been awarded GOLD in the Attachment and Trauma Sensitive Schools Award. @RainbowEduMAT 💚🌈

We have had so much fun serving customers in the Pumpkin Spice Café! We have loved making the pizzas in the pizza oven, making drinks and taking our friends’ orders. Fantastic language in busy time today!🎃☕️ @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

Today we have shown racism the red card! We know that we are all different and that is what makes us so special❤️we have designed our own Elmers that are all different, just like us! @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

This week we have been reading ‘Whatever Next’. We have loved learning about the moon, space and planet Earth! We all would love to be astronauts so we could travel on a rocket to the moon! @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

We have loved exploring the numbers 1-3 over the past couple of weeks. We have worked on so many skills - subitising, ordering, counting, making pairs and so much more! We are enjoying learning about partitioning so far this week. @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

We have loved talking about where we live, what our houses look like and who lives in our homes. We have looked at Wavertree using google street view and some of our children could even find their way home! @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

T is for Teddy Bear’s Picnic! We have had an amazing day full of fun, laughter and yummy food! In the words of one of our lovely reception children “that was the best party ever!” Happy 10th birthday @RainbowEduMAT 🌈🎈 @hgprimary

We have been learning about the different people in the community who help us. We have spoken about their job roles and how they benefit us. We have spoken about the jobs we would like to do someday and even looked at the clothes we may wear! @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

The Rainbow Fish! We have been so engaged with our Rainbow Fish inspired provision this week and have been working hard on our fine motor skills with a lot of play dough, cutting and drawing activities🐠 @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

We are loving our “Me and My World” topic already this half term! In our first few lessons we have explored how we have changed since we were babies and have learned about the ways that babies are different to us👶🏽 @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

On Monday, a mysterious bag turned up in our class with a pebble, stick, letter and teddy bear inside. We worked out it just belong to the Worrysaurus and he’d left behind his bag of happy things! We have loved reading our favourite 5 book this week! @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

Our very first focussed task of reception! This week we have been painting our self-portraits. Our topic this week has been ‘Are we all the same?’ and so we paid extra attention to our different details and features using the mirror🪞📸@hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT

Day 2! We really enjoyed our sessions today and we were much more confident throughout our session. Our afternoon session even came in for some lunch. They made us so proud! ⭐️ @hgprimary @RainbowEduMAT
