@_samantha8 If they're not really your friends, then I think you should just cancel. Call it a mix up with the booking or whatever it needs to be, but you should get to spend your birthday with the people you want (including no one at all if that's what you'll enjoy most)!

I've got a villa booked for my 40th. I'm paying for my first week but people are coming the second (and it's a free week cos my friends family own it). I've not spoken to any of those lot really since arranging and, they're not really my friends. Shall I sack it off?
