@Carl_M79 Seems to me Slot can’t motivate the players. Salah’s drop off can’t be this big. Fitness an issue for the team. Horrible to watch. Been like it since we had the league secured last season. Has to be the manager and coaching staff. A change is needed as it won’t improve.

Our senior players want shooting for that. Absolutely appalling. Not a manager on the planet who can compensate for such pathetic individual performances compared to last year. Van Dijk, Robertson, Mac Allister, Salah....all inexplicably dreadful.

If Salah is sold I guess Slot gets more of ‘his’ players in January. As amazing as Salah has been he’s always been an ego. Mane suffered at times due to it. Their relationship wasn’t without issues. Now we have Isak, Wirtz and Ekiteke. Salah can’t have it all his own way.

Liverpool is a business. £150m for Salah funds a continued rebuild let alone the huge reduction in the wage bill. I’m not convinced by Slot as his football seems to slow for the Premier League but this is still mostly a squad of Klopp’s.

My thoughts on Salah/Slot. Is this the transition season we were all expecting last year? Was the plan to always move Salah on in January to get some value on him? Previously the team has always been built around him. Not this season and he’s struggled.

So we rested Wirtz completely on Wednesday and started Mac Allister, who looked rubbish (and has all season). Now we start Mac Allister again today when he clearly needs time out of the team and bench Wirtz. Completely makes sense that.

@AnfieldEdition Main issue behind all the others is tempo, everything both on and off the ball is so unbelievably slow. No urgency getting into shape and letting runners get away from them. No urgency getting into space with the ball and moving it quicker

@LFCVine It’s so slow. When we play fast we look great. It lasts about 10 minutes then we drop the tempo and become easy to play through and our attacks are easy to nullify.

Why has our build up play been so awful this season?🤔 This was in pre-season by the way…
