And you all also got to stop this in regards to describing Black Americans regardless if ADOS or FBA as violent.
she. her. that girl.@123itsmeMary
the fba/ados people are so violent and harmful cause any Black American that doesn't reject being descendants of enslaved Africans are "tethers." There is no difference between them, xenophobic S*uth Afric@ns, etc going around harassing Black folks for their freedom papers.
English

When has FBA ever haunted you down in Hung you from a tree? Just saying. Most they ever do is stand on their heritage and for some reason that makes ppl uncomfortable

And can we discuss Janet being in her early 30s during this era!

@Thee_Real_Miki @CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions If we aren't then explain why we opened are spaces for most of you? You pledge in our frats and sororities, rap and sing our music, dress and speak like us, and even let you in our homes and institutions. Let's not play dumb here. We thee most open group ever
English

@Redacted925 @CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions lol
Nah. Yall are not the most open group of ppl.
English

@CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Lmaooooo but Hispanics also have horrific things to say about us. Lol! They'll be fine
English

@Redacted925 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions I use to believe you till I heard how FBA truly felt towards Hispanics saying they loud af, can’t understand them, music is trash etc so when others try to assimilate and reach common grounds they “cosplay” “tethers” “opps” but before it was go to your country, speak English etc
English

@Redacted925 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Which I can agree and say it’s mainly to do with FBA just means American. Not everyone that’s FBA lived that history, know much about it etc so at core value just means a long word for American. Do yall have parades non associated with Juneteenth?
English

@CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Lmaooo to make us comfortable? BAs are the most open group of people ever. He suppressed that because he wanted to. Let's not go there. When we platformed people all of the strength of being black. FBA is a new concept
English

@Redacted925 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions So maybe that is your answer, many suppressed their identity to make yall comfortable and now with all this division and tether calling people just telling yall off rip what they identify as
English

@CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Im unfamiliar with that but the point I am making is plenty of BAs who are Biethnic only lean towards a side they think is "exotic"
English

@Redacted925 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions 100% but even Miles Morales is going to play a huge role for the future black and brown kids as he’s half and half but I see arguments that he’s only FBA when he’s specifically half and half in the comics and games and new movies
English

@CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Well that is because he is Jamaican and mostly at the time in Hip hop being so wasn't cool but this has nothing to do with what the conversation is about.
English

@Redacted925 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions I get that but look at Biggie no one knew he was Jamaican till you looked it up, he never said he was Jamaican in his songs. But fba was quick to be like he’s Jamaican. She got to it first so that down the road she’s not called tether, etc she already beat yall to her identity
English

@CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Yes because Black American is just enough. It's ok to say "Hey im Pr and Black American" but it looks weird when you go around repping the side you see as more "exotic" and no one knows of your BA heritage which much richer in cultural achievements but I digress
English

@Redacted925 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Which I agree I just made the point that even Caucasians flaunt their bloodlines when asked, “I’m Polish, I’m Italian, I have family in Quebec etc” but FBA delineated so they just simplified it to just black. Some people want to feel more connected to their roots no shame
English

@CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions "Deeper identities" you are proven my point. Wym "Deep". Black American is just enough
English

@LonTalking @Redacted925 @cjgproduxions White Americans are no different, they’ll flaunt that they have Italian blood or German or French etc Black Americans delineated to just a color so don’t get offended when people search for deeper identities than a color.
English

@CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Honey, We aren't talking about what whites are doing. We are talking about Black Americans and how exoticisim plague a lot of Biethnics.
English

@CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Wym? American of what Background? Black American should be enough when all of your accomplishments are rooted in BA heritage. Just look at Jade Cargill. Pledged in Black American sororities and grew up in Jax FL a city that's rich in BA heritage lol

English

@Redacted925 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions They don’t because they know they are black first atleast in this country because no one says “I’m black Puerto Rican” in Puerto Rico, no one says I’m “black or white Jamaican” in Jamaica. Being black American just means you’re American 🇺🇸 now American of what background.
English

@LonTalking @CobaltZero7 @cjgproduxions No I didn't say she was cosplaying. I said she was leaning to one side heavy due to them thinking it's more "exotic" than their BA side.
English

@Redacted925 @CobaltZero7 @cjgproduxions I get your overall point. There is no shame whatsoever in our Black American heritage, and it’s insulting when people suggest as much. I’m all the way with you on that. Where we disagree (I think) is your application of this idea to Nia Long. I don’t think she’s been cosplaying.
English

@CobaltZero7 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Whole time his mom named him after Tupac a Black American with rich culture in music and film and the Black panthers but they do not see that as "exotic" enough lol.

English

@Redacted925 @LonTalking @cjgproduxions Bron use to joke and me Carmeloooo in like a jokey Spanish way so his peers knew he was Rican, nothing wrong with being both it’s actually beautiful look at Shakur Stevenson
