Today, the Senate passed HB 80 requiring that doula services be covered by Medicaid in Delaware, sending the bill to the Governor's desk. DHA supports HB 80 as doulas have a positive impact on the health outcomes of mothers and their babies. Thank you @repminor & @Marie4Senate !
I'm honored to officially become the President Pro Tempore of the Senate today. It's not lost on me the significance of what it means to be the first woman to serve in this role. This is another sign that slowly but surely, Congress is looking more like America.
