Conversion therapy is helping some LGBTQ individuals pursue a God-aligned identity. Hawaiʻi banned it in 2018 (Act 13, HRS §453J-1). In Chiles v. Salazar (8–1), SCOTUS struck down a similar ban. Should personal belief-based choices be protected—or restricted?

I voted NO on HB2306. We promised tax relief in 2023. Repealing it now would break that promise to our residents. Hawaiʻi doesn’t have a revenue problem — we have a spending problem. Do you agree? Let me know in the comments.

Truth isn’t rewritten by legislation. Male and female — created with purpose, not by accident. If we start redefining biology and dismissing faith, where does it stop? If you believe lawmakers shouldn’t override science, Scripture, or common sense, it’s time to speak up.

Regardless of cultural views, government control over speech between licensed professionals and consenting clients—and over parental authority—should concern anyone who values constitutional freedoms. This is our God given right!

Religious Freedom: For many families and counselors, these issues involve sincerely held religious beliefs. Restricting voluntary counseling burdens those beliefs and raises serious Free Exercise concerns.

H.B. 1876 bans licensed counselors from offering or advertising change-oriented counseling for any age—even when adults or parents request it. I oppose it because it overrides parental rights, restricts free speech in therapy, and burdens religious freedom!
