@BWelch1943 He is alone. Every other reliever has shown at least SOME success. Nobody else has a 47.25 era including the position player that pitched last night. Do not confuse “inconsistency” with “ineffectiveness.”

@Robb_Ellis I did and he isn’t alone. I also watch every pitch. Jays are 3-1 but could easily be 1–3. They have been anything but impressive at the plate. Infield work has been average. Strikeouts have dominated. Fluharty, Nance, Varland and Miles have taken their licks.

@Stiener13 The “yips” are a powerful thing. He has fucked up so much recently that a change of scenery may be the only thing for him.

@Sasky Ahhh memories! Here’s one. Remember when the #Leafs were running contests with giveaways and somehow most of the prizes were going to friends of yours? So “ironic” how that happened.

But it was, for us, a decision we'd made for a few good reasons of safeguarding the brand, and also, the fans (from our perspective). That being said, being called "upstairs" to explain that was one of my more terrifying life moments.
