CELTICS EYE PLAYOFF SPOT: The Boston Celtics can clinch a spot in the NBA Playoffs presented by Google tonight with a win over the Atlanta Hawks (7:30pm/et, NBA League Pass) and a New Orleans Pelicans victory over the Toronto Raptors. Boston is looking to extend the NBA’s longest active playoff streak to 12 seasons and join the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference playoff field. The Hawks enter the matchup with the Celtics on a 14-1 run, climbing to fifth place in the East.

Update: Surgery went well. I am recovering, which is painful, but day by day, I am feeling better. Makes zero sense the @NFL still won't pay the officials full-time pay and then put them in an off-season program for these rule-changes that take place every off-season... @nflcommish, any idea why this is? 🤔

This proposal would only apply if replacement refs are used — which is a real possibility. The proposal would allow the NFL’s Officiating Command Center to step in and correct clear and obvious missed calls in real time — including things like roughing the passer, pass interference, and even disqualifications — using video evidence. The goal: don’t have a Fail Mary situation.

@derek_larger I'm a 'Bama fan and I have doubts about Ty Simpson.. Same way I had doubts about Jalen Hurts, who actually did work out.. Not saying Simpson can't work out as well but he doesn't have the heart Hurts does. Mendoza still QB1 in this draft imo..

As a @KUHoops fan I agree with @stephenasmith... Really, Darryn Peterson should return for another season... This one-and-done crap isn't for everyone.. I'm betting he gets bad advice from his agent and declares though..
