BREAKING: Ahead of Opening Day, DIRECTV has announced that it will provide all nine of the local teams that have switched from prior RSNs to MLB-operated team channels (Nationals, Mariners, Brewers, Cardinals, Marlins, Rays, Reds, Royals, Tigers), similar to ones DIRECTV was among the first to launch for the San Diego Padres, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Cleveland Guardians, and Minnesota Twins in the past few seasons. DIRECTV has also added the MLB.TV streaming service for its streaming customers, the league’s FAST channel, and will offer tonight’s opener between the Yankees and Giants, which is streaming on Netflix, to its network of more than 300,000 sports bars, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial venues.
