My only argument against this is we think that all military people are good and safe with a firearm.
I am hoping they have some kind of vetting.
Actually, if they allow all of them it might be motivation to increase the quality of firearms training.

Here's a novel idea, don't play around with a loaded firearm. They didn't find this gun during a frisk, he disclosed to the officers he was lawfully armed. Leave the damn thing in the holster.

High speed or not, Via Rail needs its own tracks. Sharing tracks with freight makes Via Rail impossible and expensive to run efficiently for passengers.
