Last week, Principal Lamar Hill hosted State Sen. Dan Blue and Wake County Public Schools Superintendent Robert Taylor on a tour of Southeast Raleigh Elementary School. Sen. Blue visited classrooms as Principal Hill shared highlights of the school’s successes and future outlook.

Our Youth Ambassadors were greeters and heard inspiring words from Raleigh-raised rapper Nau’Jour Lazier Grainger, or Toosii, at the Wake County Dept. of Health and Human Services' Ride or Die Inspirational Conversation for youth about making good decisions and setting goals.

Our Youth Ambassadors as Santa's Helpers at the Sgt. Courtney T. Johnson Community Center in Southgate. 300 people stopped by for donated toys and bicycles. Sponsors: City of Raleigh, Lamar Homes, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. with support from the community. Happy holidays!
