— The @NYTGuildTech strike continues today, marking the first strike by a union represented by the @newsguild to coincide with a presidential election in 60 years.

It's been a tough morning for @SFCGuild:
Today, Guild leadership learned that eight members of the newsroom, including six of our members, were being laid off.
To say we're frustrated is an understatement. We are absolutely devastated. I will miss my colleagues who worked on both the audio and SFNext initiatives, which helped deliver vital coverage to our community.
