Streamers/audio tech lovers, I have a little issue and I'm wondering if there is anyone that can help me solve it. I have a Shure SM7 mic, GoXLR mini, and Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO headphones. Randomly, my mic has a weird crackling/static background sound when I speak. I have tried to rule out different causes by unplugging/replugging all connectors, moving devices, cleaning, only using the mic to test record and then again with only the headphones. I have come to the conclusion that when my headphone wire touches itself it causes the static. These headphones are brand new and I have only had them maybe a little over a month. This issue has only just started maybe over the past few days. Though, I have had this issue in the past with a different pair of headphones, but it was solved with a GPU update? weirdly. But my GPU is up to date this time so I am baffled. I have recently updated my GPU, maybe a week ago? idk man I really don't understand.
