If you run a lot or jog a lot, you are reducing your life span. Every human is born with fixed number of breathes. This is hard coded. Average person has MAX 500 million breathes given to them. If you slow down your breathing from 20 to 15 a minute, you increase life by 25%. On the flip side, if you have a lot of shallow and quick breathing, you cut down your life short by decades. Ancient Himalayan sages lived to 200-300 years old . By reducing their breathing from 20 to about 4 breathes a minute .
